A Kinston family dentist and former Lenoir County Board of Health board chairman has administrative hearings this month in Lenoir County District Court on insurance fraud and aiding and abetting forgery charges.
Dr. Richard “Ricky” Todd Carlyle, 54, whose address is listed on an arrest warrant as 208 Airport Road in Kinston, was served the arrest warrants on May 17 and Oct. 11, 2019.
According to NC Department of Insurance Assistant Director of Affairs Barry Smith, Carlyle was charged with two counts of insurance fraud and one count each of forgery and obtaining property by false pretense.
