CDA Foundation opens wildfire relief fund to support recovery of Southern California dental community

Quick Summary: California dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental business office staff and laboratory technicians who are currently employed in the dental field and are affected by the wildfires burning in Southern California are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria and apply for the CDA Foundation’s Disaster Relief Grant Program. The CDA Foundation on Monday launched the Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund and is now accepting tax-deductible donations from colleagues, family, friends, patients and members of the greater dental community who wish to support the safety, well-being and recovery of dentists and dental staff who are impacted by the devastating wildfires that continue to burn in Los Angeles County.

Individual dentists, dental staff and dental society staff are encouraged to apply through April 7 for the Foundation’s Disaster Relief Grant for assistance with immediate and emergency needs resulting from the fires.

As of Jan. 16, 29 dentists in the affected region have reported claims to The Dentists Insurance Company.
