Central Health-funded CommUnityCare Health Centers officials said they will start seeing patients on Monday inside a new mobile clinic parked in Colony Park and Creedmoor, communities in eastern Travis County region marked by high rates of uninsured residents, families living in poverty, and limited access to health services.
Inside the 40-foot bus, CommUnityCare will offer primary care, preventive care, vaccines, lab services, chronic disease management, and limited pharmacy services. The bus will be up and running in earnest on Monday, June 24. The mobile clinic will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Fridays at Barbara Jordan Elementary School (6711 Johnny Morris Road), Wednesdays at the Turner-Roberts Recreation Center (7201 Colony Loop Drive), and Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Creedmoor Community Center (12511 FM 1625).
