One month after she was put on paid administrative leave, Erica Stick has resigned as chief of staff at the Health and Human Services Commission.
In December, Stick — the wife of embattled former commission chief counsel Jack Stick — was put on administrative leave because of her husband’s role in brokering multimillion dollar, no-bid deals now under investigation by the FBI and other agencies.
Erica Stick, who worked at the Commission for 10 years, said in her resignation letter that it had been “an honor and a privilege” to work at the agency.
