AUSTIN — Democrats have responded to the felony indictment of a former high-ranking official of Texas’ cancer-fighting agency by attacking Attorney General Greg Abbott.The 2014 governor’s race is expected to pit Abbott, a Republican, against Wendy Davis, a Democratic state senator from Fort Worth.
