AUSTIN — Attorney General Ken Paxton’s scheduler is leaving the agency, the latest staffer to depart in a string of high-profile resignations.
Katherine Lawhon’s last day in the office was nearly six weeks ago, according to her personnel file, released to The Dallas Morning News on Friday under the state’s open records law. But she will remain on the agency’s payroll through Saturday.
In a letter sent March 21, Lawhon said she would use a total 216 hours — the equivalent of 27 days — of combined administrative, annual and holiday leave.
