(Mankato, MN) – A 51-year-old Mankato woman who ran a massive Medicaid scam has been sentenced to one year in jail, which she can serve on work release. Rebecca Swanson was also ordered to pay restitution of around $600,000 and to be on probation for 20 years.
According to the complaint, Rebecaa Swanson fraudulently obtained more than $600,000 by engaging in four separate fraud schemes as the owner of Mybeck, Inc, which provided Personal Care Assistant (PCA) services.
