SOUTH BEND, Ind.—FBI agents were at South Bend Family Dentistry on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for the FBI’s Indianapolis Division confirmed that agents were serving a federal search warrant but did not provide any other information.
Federal agents were coming in and out of the door all day carrying boxes of evidence.
We went in to ask the dentist what was going on, but employees walked us out the door saying “you guys have to go.”
When asking if they had any comment to the FBI presence at their business one employee said: “No we already told y’all don’t come in here.”
The dentist’s office is run by Dr. Trang Mai.
Federal agents spent a good part of the day at the business. They were joined by an agent from the Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
