WalletHub.com has just released Best & Worst States for Health 2024, and Connecticut has landed right in the middle at #24 overall. The cost of healthcare in Connecticut was determined to be nearly the most expensive in all of the US, the only states where healthcare is less affordable are Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

To determine the states with the best and worst healthcare, WalletHub.com compared data from all 50 states and Washington DC across three dimensions: Cost, Access, and Outcomes. Connecticut landed near the bottom of the list in cost, but we’re actually in the Top 10 (9) in Outcomes. Access to healthcare in Connecticut was ranked as the 16th Best in all of the US.
