AUSTIN — A majority of Texas residents want the state to spend more on health care programs and expand Medicaid, according to the results of a recent poll.
The study by the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Episcopal Health Foundation polled more than 1,300 Texans by phone about their health care views and what they want Texas lawmakers to address when they meet in January for the next legislative session. The margin of error for this study is plus or minus 3 percent.
