Two south Texas doctors sentenced in multi-million dollar Medicare fraud schemes

January 30, 2019, Washington, DC—Two Houston, TX, physicians were sentenced to 25-year and 3-year prison terms for their roles in separate schemes to defraud Medicare out of payments for medical services.

Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, US Attorney Ryan Patrick of the Southern District of Texas, Special Agent in Charge Perrye K. Turner of the FBI’s Houston Field Office, Special Agent in Charge C.J. Porter of the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) Dallas Region, and the Texas Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) made the announcement.

  • It’s really sad that the disabled and middle class just keep getting milked by these fraudulent Dr.s ,dentist,pharmacy s .No wonder we have to fight for help anymore..They just make it harder and harder for all of us in need…………
