LAREDO, TX (KGNS) – The clinic known as Laredo Laser and Surgery has reopened for business a day after the FBI shut down operations for a few hours.
The FBI, federal agencies and the attorney general’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit were seen going in and out of the facility on Tuesday morning.
On Wednesday, we spoke with the owner of the clinic Dr. Michael Hockman before he was about to perform surgery.
Officials did confirm that everything is back to normal when it comes to operations of the business.
The FBI says they have not arrested anyone in the case and the investigation remains ongoing.

Wow the FBI did not find anything! This doctor was my late husband‘s eye specialist, but due to the operation he became blind. I also know of about six other people who have lost their eyesight due to this doctor. I know for sure that if you have any type of insurance, he will find something wrong with you, just so that he can operate and collect from the insurance. I hope law enforcement digs deeper to find the fraud this purported surgeon is conducting.
