Woman committed insurance fraud to get $3K in dental work, Pa. court finds

Despite her claims to the contrary, a state appeals court panel has found that a woman committed insurance fraud when she lied so she could get her teeth fixed.

Amy Lee Palmer sent a forged a letter from an insurer to her dental surgeon, who then performed nearly $3,000 in work for which Palmer wasn’t actually covered.
